The bridge in front of Meiji Shrine in Harajuku, once a mecca for crazy cosplayers, lolitas and decora kids, has seen more lively days now that the boom is over and most people have dyed their hair back to a normal color. But the tourists still flock there in droves, ready to gawk and grab some snapshots of wild-looking Japanese kids.

This little lolita was more than happy to stand and look dainty while visitors lined up to have their photo taken with her. The dress and accessories for one lolita outfit could cost hundreds of thousands of yen.

Nice pics!
I know the sky’s the limit on Loli etc costume prices, but I was surprised at how inexpensive they can be. Do you know that second-storey place on Takeshita Dori with all the maid and Loli get-ups?
I was surprised to see that complicated full outfits with crinolines and cat ears and an apron and a necktie run less than a pair of bunchy pants at one of those OL office shops.
